These special soap dishes are handmade for us by a fellow vendor at the Portland Saturday Market, Jeff Bengston of Bengston Woodworks. They are made from cedar, which Jeff says will stand up to water better than other woods. They are slatted, which is beneficial for handmade soap so that it doesn't sit in a puddle of water.
